Sarah is passionate about using strategic communications to connect people to progressive movements. She comes to Spitfire after a year working in electoral politics on the national stage. Sarah believes the power of storytelling is critical to creating powerful movements for social change. She provides media relations, communication strategy, and research support to help clients advance civil rights, criminal justice, racial justice, and economic justice causes.
Sarah launched her career working for Pete Buttigieg’s presidential campaign. At the height of election season, she learned the importance of connecting personal stories to policy and driving voters to action. Working for Mayor Pete inspired her to continue fighting for progressive change by using the power of strategic communications.
Sarah graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Arts in economics and an M.A. in public policy. While pursuing her graduate degree, she focused her studies on analyzing how economic policy reform can be implemented to create a more equitable world. Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys running and exploring on her road bike.
