Jasmine joins Spitfire with a strong background in writing and communications to provide outstanding client support, produce real outcomes and fight for social justice reform.
Prior to joining Spitfire, Jasmine worked for BerlinRosen on their National Public Affairs Team to support clients in the issue advocacy space. While there, she worked closely with Advocates for Youth, a non-profit organization that encourages young people to make informed decisions about their reproductive and sexual health. Jasmine also managed editorial, media relations and content-based responsibilities for Futures without Violence and Physicians for Reproductive Health. Previously, Jasmine interned at Hamilton Place Strategies, where she conducted in-depth media analysis for over 20 clients.
A Maryland native, Jasmine graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Journalism. As a student, she studied abroad in Rome for a semester and served as an editorial assistant for award-winning journalist Dr. Ervin Dyer. Jasmine is a serial coffee drinker and self-proclaimed foodie. If she’s not binge watching the Food Network or episodes of The Bachelor, you might catch her at a UMD sports game cheering on her Terps!
