Liz Clark, Account Coordinator

Liz Clark provides research and writing support to a variety of Spitfire clients helping them increase access to children’s health care, support sustainable fisheries and promote clean energy jobs.
 
Prior to joining Spitfire, Liz served as the campaign manager to Debbie Phillips in her successful bid for Ohio State Representative. Liz managed various aspects of the campaign including communications, field outreach, and finance. Her political organizing experience also includes two years leading a local chapter of the Obama for America campaign, as well as organizing volunteers during several cycles for local and statewide campaigns in Ohio as president of the Ohio University College Democrats.

Previously, Liz worked with Ohio Citizen Action, an environmental grassroots organization. During her time there she worked as both a research assistant and phone canvasser to provide support for the organization’s good neighbor campaigns.

Liz has a B.S in communications studies from Ohio University, with minor concentrations in political science and French. As an undergraduate she served as the publicist for Ohio University’s Center for Teaching and Learning, as well as the State and Federal Affairs Commissioner for Ohio University’s Student Senate.
